What I love most about working with preschoolers is the incredible privilege of being one of the first people in their lives to share God’s love with them. Their hearts are open, curious, and eager to soak in the truth of who they are in Christ. Every day, we remind our kiddos of three important things: You are loved. You are special. You are God’s masterpiece. Speaking those words over them, and watching their faces light up as they hear them, fills me with joy. We end this moment by singing the song ‘I Am Special,’ which helps them carry that message of God’s love with them throughout the day.
