In early preschool, we celebrate that God made each of us wonderfully unique. Some of us are alike, and some are different, but every one of us is special in God’s eyes. We talk about what it means to treat others as special too, by playing kindly, sharing, waiting patiently, listening, using gentle hands and kind words, helping one another, forgiving, cleaning up, and giving. Through stories, role-playing, class discussions, and daily practice, children learn how to live out God’s love in everyday moments. These lessons help them grow not only in friendship, but also in their understanding that they are each a precious part of God’s creation.
