The Director of Adult Discipleship plays a vital role in helping adults grow as fully devoted followers of Jesus by casting vision, equipping leaders, and building engaging discipleship pathways across all campuses. The WLC Multisite Hospitality & Assimilation Lead cultivates a welcoming, Jesus-centered experience and guides people from first-time guests to fully engaged disciples across all Woodbury Lutheran Church campuses. This role oversees hospitality and assimilation systems, ensuring every person feels noticed, connected, and supported in taking meaningful next steps.

The Lead designs and maintains clear, data-informed processes that integrate hospitality, follow-up, and next-step pathways. In a multisite context, this position ensures consistency and excellence while aligning with WLC’s mission and honoring the unique needs of each campus.

An assistant teacher is an important part of Woodbury Lutheran Preschool’s ministry team and shares his/her God-given gifts for ministry in ways that are meaningful and enriching to the faith and daily lives if children and families. Assistant teachers help establish a Christian learning environment by nurturing children and assisting the classroom teacher with the general supervision and management of the class of children. In their work with children, assistant teachers support social and emotional development, encourage independence, facilitate age-appropriate learning and respect individual children’s growth.

An extended care teacher support is an important part of Woodbury Lutheran Preschool’s ministry team and shares his/her God-given gifts for ministry in ways that are meaningful and enriching to the faith and daily lives of children and families. An extended teacher assists in creating a supportive and caring environment for before and after school care for children. An extended care teacher support assists with carrying out appropriate activities to engage children who are completing a busy day of learning and communicates with families as they arrive to pick up their children. A support teacher is comfortable in incorporating Christian faith on a daily basis through activities, prayers and conversation with children.

A teacher is responsible for establishing a Christian learning environment by nurturing children, creating lesson plans which support academic goals along with assessing children, parent teacher conference and parent communication. A teacher creates a classroom environment where the supervision and management of children support a safe environment where children grow socially, emotionally and gain independence. A teacher incorporates faith on a daily basis through Jesus time, prayers and conversation with children.
