At Woodbury Lutheran Church, we believe life transformation happens through intentional discipleship and authentic community. The Director of Adult Discipleship plays a vital role in helping adults grow as fully devoted followers of Jesus by casting vision, equipping leaders, and building engaging discipleship pathways across all campuses. From small groups and mentoring relationships to immersive faith experiences, this role helps shape a culture where people are known, formed, and sent to live out their faith every day. The WLC Multisite Hospitality & Assimilation Lead cultivates a welcoming, Jesus-centered experience and guides people from first-time guests to fully engaged disciples across all Woodbury Lutheran Church campuses. This role oversees hospitality and assimilation systems, ensuring every person feels noticed, connected, and supported in taking meaningful next steps.
The Lead designs and maintains clear, data-informed processes that integrate hospitality, follow-up, and next-step pathways. In a multisite context, this position ensures consistency and excellence while aligning with WLC’s mission and honoring the unique needs of each campus.
The Assimilation Lead helps people move from first-time participation to deep connection and active engagement at Woodbury Lutheran Church. This role designs and oversees the systems, processes, and data that guide people along the WLC journey—ensuring every next step is clear, intentional, and aligned with our mission to follow Jesus, multiply disciples, and transform lives.
The Hospitality Lead plays a key role in shaping first impressions and fostering a culture where people feel seen, welcomed, and invited into community at Woodbury Lutheran Church. This role provides vision, leadership, and support for hospitality across all WLC campuses, equipping volunteer leaders and teams to create consistent, warm, and excellent experiences that help people connect with Jesus and one another.
The NextGen Minister will oversee leadership and programming for Kids & Youth Ministries at the Oak Hill Campus helping to fulfill Woodbury Lutheran’s Purpose: Follow Jesus | Multiply Disciples | Transform Lives.
NextGen Summer Ministry Interns grow as leaders and assist in programming for Kids and Youth Ministries. They work
with the NextGen team to connect families, youth and kids to opportunities for experiencing the joy of The [Disciple] Life
across campuses.
