Care and Support Resources

Our Care Teams are ready to stand with you through life's celebrations, struggles, and everything in between. Select a tab below to find out more.

We all journey through difficult times in life. No one should walk that road alone.

We have trained Stephen Ministers ready and available to come alongside you through your journey—many of whom have walked through difficulties themselves—in a judgment-free, caring, and confidential environment.  These men and women are trained to provide one-on-one care to people of all ages including those experiencing grief, divorce, chronic or terminal illness, job loss, loss of a home, military deployment, spiritual crisis, and many other life struggles and circumstances.  To learn more about being matched with a Stephen Minister, fill out the form below:

Losing someone or something you love is very painful. After a significant loss, you may experience all kinds of difficult and surprising emotions, such as shock, anger, and guilt.  There is no right or wrong way to grieve — but there are healthy ways to cope with the pain. Woodbury Lutheran hosts an 8-week Grief Support Class in January, April/May, and September which incorporates Scripture into the healing process after loss. For more information, call the church office at 651-739-5144 or email Pastor Tim.

At Celebrate Recovery you will experience support and fellowship, while celebrating God's healing power in life through 8 recovery principles and Christ-centered 12 steps. Individuals share experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another and grow toward accepting God's grace in solving life's problems. Celebrate Recovery meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm at our  Valley Creek Campus (7380 Afton Road, Woodbury, MN).

For more information please contact Larry at 651-308-9113 or Vicky at 651-308-9112.

"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
-Philippians 4:6-7
