With Easter God’s new creation has been vaulted into the world pointing ahead to what we will fully know when Jesus comes again. As we wait, our citizenship in “heaven” moves us to bring heaven to earth. With every act of creativity, justice, seeking peace, resisting sin, finding true identity in Jesus we are implementing the resurrection of Jesus right now as we anticipate the final new creation. This is what it means to be surprised by Hope!
