The Church is a people created by God, redeemed by Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called and sent to bear witness to God’s creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in the world. As such, we live with a new-heavens-and-new-earth orientation joining in the redemptive work God is doing now in Jesus.
