Dario and Juanita Guerrero

In June 2019 the Guerreros moved to a rural area of central Paraguay; they settled in La Esperanza and serve the Sanapana, an unreached people group. They work with other missionaries in the same area while they develop relationships of trust with locals as they learn the local language. Since 2017 they were immersed in culture- and language-learning in Asuncion. This included working alongside local churches, encouraging church members to grow and lead. Their long-term goal is to grow a local body of worshippers, including raising up indigenous leaders to take the church forward with minimal outside assistance.

Dario was discipled as a young man through YouthWorld in Quito, Ecuador and he was a sponsored child through Compassion International.
