WLCYOUTH

Loved. Saved. Changed.

What is WLCyouth like?

We're all about following Jesus, discovering our identity in Him, growing to be more and more like Him (serving, learning, connecting), and helping others to do the same. We have opportunities all year to connect, grow as disciples, and have fun as we live The [Disciple] LIFE.

  • Jump in, grab a friend, and connect at Middle School Mania or High School Hootenanny.
  • Serve on a  Summer Mission Experience, serve events, Summer Stretch, or on a ServeTEAM.
  • Stretch and learn with your family in preparation for faith milestones like First Communion and Confirmation.
  • Grow and study God's Word in Summer Bible Study and in a small group throughout the school year.

If you're in grades 6-12, we'd love to meet you and help you get connected to WLCyouth!

Youth Events

Miracle League is a modified baseball program for kids with special needs and it's one of the most fun ways to serve out there!  We'll have pizza and a short training before playing two games with our new buddies.

We’ll jump in some boats and spend the day on the beautiful Kinnickinnic River on Thursday, August 15 from 9am to 5pm!  This trip is doable for novice kayakers, but challenging enough to keep you on your toes.

First Communion & Confirmation

First Communion

First Communion preparation at Woodbury Lutheran is a 4-week parent and child experience during the Lenten season leading up to Easter Sunday.

Confirmation

The Confirmation Journey is a family-paced faith process for young people (7-12th grade), who would like to dive deeper into understanding what they believe and why. Students & a parent/mentor are invited to explore what it looks like to be followers of Jesus together. At the end of the journey, students are invited to publicly confirm the faith given to them in their baptisms and claim their identity as disciples who intend to continue to live The [Disciple] LIFE — following Jesus.
