In Galatians 5 Paul describes the transformed life of a follower of Jesus, with this transformation comes freedom. This transformed, free life turns away from the desires of the sinful nature and instead lives by the Spirit. One of the ways living by the Spirit is manifested is in the fruit of love. Agape love, given freely with no expectation of return, given generously without fear of the cost. In fact this love, the love first given by God in Jesus, removes all fear from our lives. Living this transformed life our love is always growing more confident, more perfect, more free.
