Passage: Romans 8:9-17
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness. Greed comes from believing we don’t have enough. Taking our eyes off of Jesus and His provision tempts us to live in fear and selfishness. Greed: self- centered security at the expense of others.
