Many people wake up with a predetermined agenda for what they are going to do each day. Yet, the way of Jesus looked very different. Before heading into action, Jesus would begin with prayer. Prayer not only changes things outside of us, but it brings change within us as well. In order to begin loving our neighbors, we need to begin praying for them. Once we deal with the common reasons we don’t pray, we can begin to follow Jesus, pray for our neighbors, and listen as God’s voice begins to take the lead in our day.
