Jesus answers his disciples questions about the end by explaining what life on earth will be like in the last days. Jesus tells us to expect that wars, catastrophes, and anguish will be commonplace and that the world will only grow in its hatred of Jesus and his followers. And Jesus even tells us all what the most extreme time of this will be before his return. But even amid all the turmoil, the work of the church --- the spread of the gospel --- will be accomplished before the end arrives.
